Gelato is a sweet smelling, popular variety originating from the Californian Bay area. High THC and dense, frosty nugs that can take on some purple hues give additional bag appeal too.
Gelato comes from a Thin Mint cookies pheno of Girl Scout Cookies crossed with Sunset Sherbet and is a highly sought after Cali seeds line. Our Gelato Feminised Seeds originate from crossing Gelato 33 x Gelato 41, 2 of the more favourable Californian Gelato phenotypes.
THC levels of 27% plus makes this a popular choice with makers of extracts and concentrates and above average yields also make her a favourite with commercial growers too. Her compact buds can be heavily loaded with trichomes come harvest and give off sweet citrusy, earthy tones.
Our Aztech Genetics Gelato Feminised Seeds are fairly easy to grow and is suited to both new and experienced growers alike. The strain is Indica dominant with minimal stretch inherited from her girl scout cookies background. She responds well to topping and lst methods such a scrog or mainlining.
Plants will do well outdoors and given plenty of veg time will grow to be quite large, for outdoor growers in cooler climates we also have a Gelato auto version that may be better suited for an earlier outdoor harvest available here.
