Product Description

What’s the difference between Light CBD Oil and Green CBD Oil?

Our Light CBD Oil and Green CBD Oil are both quite similar products.

Both are low strength CBD oils, which are perfect if you’re just starting out on your CBD journey. However, the ratio of CBD to CBDa varies between the two products. In our Light CBD oil there is a much higher ratio of CBD to CBDa.

Our Green CBD Oil has a slightly higher potency, contains a more evenly balanced ration of CBD to CBDa, and benefits from all the terpenes and essential oils contained in the plant as it is a Full Spectrum CBD oil.

What is Full Spectrum CBD?

Because Light CBD Oil is made with Full Spectrum CBD, you will benefit from more of the naturally occurring cannabinoids contained in the plant. Our Light CBD Oil contains CBD, CBG and CBDa.

When taken together, it’s believed that these different cannabinoids can work in synergy to create what has become known as the ‘entourage effect’. This means different cannabinoids in CBD work together to create an effect that can be more significant that any of the active ingredients can create on their own.

What else does Full Spectrum CBD oil contain?

Because it is less processes, many more of the natural compounds found in the hemp plant will make it through to a Full Spectrum CBD oil.

Cannabinoids

Over 100 cannabinoids are found in the hemp plant, including CBD, CBDa, CBG and THC. These compounds are what give both its therapeutic and psychoactive (in the case of THC) properties.

Terpenes

CBD terpenes are natural compounds found in the flowers and buds of the flowers. These include Linalool which is renowned for giving lavender its calming fragrance.

Flavonoids

The plant has around 20 different flavonoids. Found in all sorts or fruit and vegetables, they are powerful antioxidants and protect against inflammation.

What are the benefits of Rice Bran Oil?

Light CBD Oil is made with a base of Rice Bran Oil. A very light oil which has a mild taste, it’s easy to take under the tongue and is ideal for those who don’t like the stronger flavour of hempseed oil. It absorbs into the bloodstream easily and will leave less residue on the tongue than other oils.

Rice Bran Oil is known to have plenty of other health benefits.

High in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, it contains no trans-fats which makes it great for heart health. Rice Bran Oil is also a good source of oryzanol. A powerful antioxidant, scientific studies have shown that it can help reduce bad cholesterol and boost levels of good cholesterol. Rice Bran Oil is recommended by both the American Heart Association and the WHO as being the best choice of oil for improving serum cholesterol levels, and potentially helping with weight loss too.

This healthy oil is also high in vitamin E which can help protect against diseases and boost the immune system.

Thanks to its fatty acids, Rice Bran Oil can help keep the skin soft, supple and smooth, diminishing the appearance of fine lines and keeping the skin hydrated. It’s also great for nails, softening cuticles and helping them grow longer.
